What Goes Into Our Pricing?
I understand that pricing is always a consideration when purchasing a new puppy.
Let me just start off by saying, you get what you pay for. Edenbright Brittanys puts time, money and effort into raising quality, healthy and well adjusted puppies. As such, we do add on these expenses in our pricing.
Our puppy prices range from $1000 to $1500. Deposit is $200.00 and goes toward the principal amount.

Below you will find all of the information you will need before purchasing a puppy. These are copy and pastes from our various forms that include detailed information for the purchase of a puppy. Please read carefully. The information below can change periodically, please make sure to ask me any questions you may have about the below information.
Reservation Lists and Deposit Policies
Our goal is to provide our buyers a puppy with an excellent temperament, great looks, and great health! While we cannot guarantee what color or gender each litter will produce, we can help you get a good idea of what to expect based on previous litters. We have general goals of how many litters we would like to produce and then rely upon heat cycles and dam body mass index to be exceptional before we breed. If there are concerns for the health of our dams, we won’t breed them during that heat cycle.
Our general goal is to produce approximately 2-4 litters of Orange/White, 1-2 litters of Liver/White and 1 litter of Orange/White Roan annually.
At this point the approximate wait time for each color combination is
Orange/White = 3-6 months
Liver/White = 9-12months
(To see examples of what dogs in these color ranges look like, please click here)
These numbers are approximate and can vary significantly based on the many variables in our dog’s lives. We only breed our females if they are healthy and ready for pregnancy. Even then, there is no guarantee that they will have puppies, or how many they have if they do get pregnant.
RESERVATION LISTS AND DEPOSITS
A deposit must be paid to reserve a spot on any planned litter or any available puppy from our current litters. To be placed on a Reservation List for a specific litter, you first must fill our an application (you can find the link to the application here). After I have received the application, I will contact you via text message so that we may set up a time to speak. The phone conversation is a vitally important step in our selection process, and you cannot move forward with the purchase of an Edenbright Puppy without first speaking with me. This phone call gives me a chance to understand more about what type of puppy you may be looking for, and it gives you a chance to learn more about Edenbright Brittanys and our puppies. Once the phone conversation is over, if you are ready to place a deposit, I will send you an invoice via the email you provide on the application.
Our despite price is $200.00. DEPOSIT MUST BE PAID 48 HOURS AFTER RECEIPT OF INVOICE OR YOU WILL NOT BE PUT ON THE LIST. Once you have been pre-approved and subsequently deposited, you will be placed onto the Specified Reservation List for That Litter (you can find the running reservation lists for all of our litters under the Upcoming Litters page here). Deposits 100% Refundable during the waiting phase (before the puppies are born) and up to the puppy’s 6th week of life, or in the event that we fail to provide you with a puppy that met the requirements you listed on the application (i.e you wanted a male, but no male is available). The deposit is 50% refundable after the 6th week, and the deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON after the puppy’s 8th week of life, so please be absolutely certain you want a puppy. Below you will find an example of our deposit contract – this contract will be attached to the invoice you are sent and is fulfilled by full payment of that invoice. Please read carefully before placing a deposit:

By paying the deposit invoice in full, Buyer/Payor agrees to all policies, regulations and rules set forth in this document in its completion. Payment of invoice acts as signature of approval/acceptance of policies, regulations and rules found in this document named Deposit Request Contract.
The buyer agrees to place a deposit on one live puppy in the amount of $200.00. The puppy shall remain with Nicole Martin, Edenbright Brittanys “Breeder”, until the puppy is at least 8 weeks and 6 days, and puppy is picked up from breeder on a previously agreed upon date, upon which date the total unpaid balance is due and must be paid in full, unless noted otherwise in this contract. Payment of deposit does not imply ownership of puppy – Nicole Martin will remain owner of puppy until full purchase price has been paid and puppy has been picked up by Buyer/Payer. Failure to pick up puppy by its 12th week of life is considered a forfeit of puppy and the Breeder has no obligation to keep the puppy for the Buyer, unless otherwise decided between Buyer and Breeder. Failure to pick up puppy by the 12th Week of Life will result in a loss of full deposit and a refund of any extra money paid on Puppy’s remaining balance.
BUYER is aware that deposit is 100% refundable should he/she decide they do not want or are unable to take said puppy 50% Refundable after the pups 6th week of life and Non-Refundable after the pups 8th week of life. If something happens to the puppy while in the breeder’s care, the deposit money can be transferred to another puppy of equal value & same color or gender if/when available or be refunded the same way it was sent.
BREEDER: I will accept this deposit amount of $200.00 to hold one puppy until it is at least 8 weeks and 6 days old. If the puppy should no longer be available due to illness or accident I agree to apply said deposit to another available puppy from this litter or another available litter or refund all of any payment made on the puppy.

Deposits are transferable between litters for any reason before the puppies are born or after the puppies are born should there be puppies available on another litter – However, you will move to the last spot available on that list.
Please keep in mind that litter planning is truly guesswork, and nothing is guaranteed. We are working with nature and she can be finicky at times.

How we place puppies!
Placing puppies in the right home based on temperament and personality is the cornerstone of our breeding program. We carefully asses each and every puppy’s individual personality throughout their 9 weeks here by keeping meticulous records pertaining to temperament with their littermates, reaction to stimuli and stressors and their behavior during one on one playtime with me. This is a growing process and is always changing and improving, so check back periodically for updates. However, we believe we have found a system that SO many of our buyers really enjoy. We strive to include everyone in the puppy picking process in a way that brings excitement, joy, and early bonding with the puppies before they even go home. Below you will find a step-by-step explanation of how our picking process works.
Step One: Place a Deposit
The first thing you will want to do is fill out an application and place a deposit on a current or future litter. This deposit gives you a number on our list. That number can mean different things depending on where you are on the list and the preferences you and others above you have selected.
Below is an example of a typical list. On this list, there are 3 people who have placed deposits. Let’s say you wanted an Orange and White Male. While you will be 4th to be contacted to discuss which puppy you would like to take home, you would actually have 2nd pick of all the available males:
1. A. Alexander (1st Pick Orange/White Female)
2. B. Barton (2nd Pick Orange/White Female)
3. C. Charleston (Orange/White 1st Pick Male)
4. YOU (2nd Pick Orange/White Male)
YOU MUST PICK A COLOR AND A GENDER THAT YOU WANT! It becomes far too difficult to inform others farther down on the list of what color/gender options they can reasonably expect to be available to them if several people above them state that they want ‘any puppy of any color or gender’. You MUST pick a gender and color preference, and you can only pick one of each (i.e Orange and White Male, or Liver and White Female). While you may feel it limits your options, it makes it much fairer for everyone else on our lists – and it also makes your decision much easier – you would be surprised how overwhelming it becomes trying to pick one of 10 puppies to take home when your options are wide open. Another benefit is that if we do not produce a puppy that meets the options you selected on your application, you can ask for a 100% refund on your deposit. We want you to have the puppy that you want!
Step Two: Follow our Owner’s Page and Litter Updates Page
Once you’ve placed a deposit, you will be given a link to the Owner’s Page and the Litter Updates Page. The owner’s page allows you to see photos of our past puppies and discuss various topics with our past owners. The Litter Updates page is where I will post updates on breedings, and unborn and born litters – including photos, calendars, important dates, and videos. This is where you will get all of the information on the puppies you will use for picking out your puppy if you cannot be here in person to do so. I will post weekly to bi-weekly photos and videos and details on their personalities, with the photos and videos becoming more frequent as the puppies get older and begin to show their personalities.
YOU MUST FOLLOW THE LITTER PAGE FOR UPDATES – If you do not have a Facebook page, make one or use someone else’s. I will not text people individually – if you are unconcerned about updates and do not follow the page, you will be contacted at the six-week mark to pick out your puppy and be given the pickup date. Unless you call me for an update, you will only receive them via Facebook.
Step Three: Pick Your Puppy
I will call you at some point during the 6th week. Picking is a process, and it can take an entire week to complete as I go down the list in order. As puppies are picked, the list on our website will be updated to reflect what puppies have been chosen. Once I get to your name, I will text you to set up a phone conversation. During this conversation, we will also discuss your plans to pick your puppy up after he/she is 8 Weeks Old. If I do not hear back from you within 24 hours, you will move to the bottom of the list and I will move on.
If you would like to come in person to pick up your puppy YOU MUST SCHEDULE THAT VISIT EARLY ON! You will be given the dates for open visitation.
My advice during and before picking is to have two or three puppies that you would like to choose from rather than have your heart set on one, especially if you are not in one of the top spots.
Step Four: Pick up your puppy!
Even though I allow you to pick out which puppy you would like before they are 8 weeks, they will not go home with you until after they are 8 weeks! Additionally, I reserve the right to place puppies in homes where I believe they will thrive. If I do not think a puppy will do well in your home and with your lifestyle, you will not get that puppy. I also reserve the right at any time to choose a pick of the litter to keep or to place in an exceptional home. This does not happen too often. I will know ahead of time whether or not a litter is going to have puppies in it that I will possibly keep and/or place in exceptional homes. It’s not something that will often be a surprise last-moment decision, so no worries!
Edenbright Kennels LLC Puppy Sales Contract
This Puppy Contract & Health Guarantee (“Agreement”) is made and entered into by and between Edenbright Kennels LLC, and _______________________________________ (“Buyer”), effective as of the date of execution.
Buyer’s Representations and Warranties
Initial Health Assessment – Buyer agrees to have a licensed veterinarian perform an Initial Health Assessment of the Puppy within 5 days of transfer of the Puppy, at Buyer’s sole cost. If the licensed veterinarian determines during the Initial Health Assessment that the Puppy suffers from life-threatening conditions or is otherwise unfit for sale, Buyer must notify Seller and provide Seller the contact information for the licensed veterinarian who made the determination and all records relating to the determination within 48 hours of the determination. Buyer understands and agrees that failure to comply with this provision voids any health guarantee provided under this Agreement or otherwise.
Fit Home for Dog – Buyer agrees that the Dog shall permanently reside with the Buyer as a companion pet. Buyer further agrees to provide the Dog with a safe and fit home, a continuous water supply, nutritious food, and necessary veterinary care, including de-worming, heartworm prevention and regular vaccinations. Buyer further understands that Seller strongly opposes the placement of its dogs in shelters, with dog dealers, or in unfit homes. Accordingly, if Buyer later becomes unable to provide the Dog with a suitable home and adequate care, Buyer agrees to immediately return the Dog to Seller for consignment sale and re-homing. Buyer may recommend a particular home for Seller’s consideration for re-homing; however, any such home will be subject to Seller’s express approval. Under no circumstances may Buyer sell, transfer, or otherwise re-home the Dog without the express approval of Seller. Buyer understands that if the Dog is consigned and re-homed, the consignment sale price of the consigned Dog may be less than the original Purchase Price, that Seller has the sole and exclusive right to decide all terms of the consignment sale, and that the Seller shall be entitled to a $150 consignment fee plus expenses to be deducted from the consignment proceeds.
LIQUIDATED DAMAGES
Violations of Fit Home and Re-Homing Requirements – Buyer expressly understands and agrees that any violation of the fit home and re-homing requirements described in the paragraph above will result in damages to Seller that will be difficult if not impossible to accurately estimate, because of, among other factors, the inherent difficulties in ascertaining the unauthorized sales of dogs, calculating the loss of income to Seller, valuing the threat of harm to Seller’s dogs arising from irresponsible breeding practices, and calculating the damages to Seller’s reputation should its dogs be used in irresponsible breeding practices. ACCORDINGLY, BUYER EXPRESSLY UNDERSTANDS AND AGREES THAT ANY VIOLATION OF THE FIT HOME AND RE-HOMING REQUIREMENTS DESCRIBED IN PARAGRAPH III.C. ABOVE SHALL ENTITLE SELLER TO LIQUIDATED DAMAGES IN THE AMOUNT OF $12,000.00. Buyer expressly understands and agrees that such amount is not a penalty and is reasonable in light of the factors discussed herein and other factors.
Terms of Seller’s Health Guarantee
Initial Health Guarantee – If during the Initial Health Assessment described in the above paragraph a licensed veterinarian determines the Dog suffers from a genetically inherited disease, and upon Seller’s timely receipt of notice as described under Initial Health Assessment Buyer may elect to (i) exchange the Dog for another dog bred by Seller when it becomes available, (ii) return the Dog to Seller and accept a refund of the Purchase Price, or (iii) keep the Dog. If Buyer elects to exchange or return the Dog to Seller, Buyer agrees to immediately coordinate with Seller to make such arrangements and that any shipping costs for delivery of the replacement dog shall be the sole responsibility of Buyer. If Buyer chooses to keep the Dog, no replacement or refund will be given, all medical costs and treatment shall be the sole responsibility of the Buyer, and any health guarantee provided under this Agreement or otherwise shall be rendered void.
24-Month Health Guarantee – If it is determined by two licensed veterinarians within the first 24 months after birth that the Dog suffers from a genetically inherited disease that was not identified during the Initial Health Assessment, Buyer must notify Seller and provide Seller the contact information for the two licensed veterinarians who made the determinations and all records relating to their determinations within 48 hours of their determinations.
If the two licensed veterinarians determine that the genetically inherited disease impairs the Dog’s quality of life and fitness as a companion pet, Buyer may elect to (i) exchange the Dog for another dog bred by Seller when it becomes available, (ii) return the Dog to Seller and accept a refund of the Purchase Price, or (iii) keep the Dog. If Buyer elects to exchange or return the Dog to Seller, Buyer agrees to immediately coordinate with Seller to make such arrangements and that any shipping costs for delivery of the replacement dog shall be the sole responsibility of Buyer. If Buyer chooses to keep the Dog, Seller will provide a partial refund of 50% of the original Purchase Price, but no replacement will be given, all medical costs and treatment shall be the sole responsibility of the Buyer, and any health guarantee provided under this Agreement or otherwise shall be rendered void.
If the two licensed veterinarians determine that the genetically inherited disease does not impair the Dog’s quality of life and fitness as a companion pet, Seller agrees to provide Buyer a partial refund in the amount of 50% of the Purchase Price of the Dog.
Limitations on All Health Guarantees. In addition to the limitations set forth above, any and all guarantees relating to the health of the Dog shall be subject to the following limitations:
Any health guarantee provided under this Agreement is non-transferrable and shall not extend to any party beyond the Buyer.
Any health guarantee provided under this Agreement or otherwise shall be rendered void if surgical treatment is performed on the Dog without prior notice to Seller.
Seller’s guarantees do NOT apply with regard to the Dog’s weight, temperament, bite, descended testicles, digestive conditions common among the breed, or ear infections common among the breed; problems arising from allergies, housing policies, marital problems, general incompatibility; problems arising from the failure to provide routine preventative health care, vaccines, parasite and flea control, or dental care; problems arising from trauma or abuse the Dog or the failure to provide adequate housing, kenneling, training, or exercise to the Dog; and any other problems not related to a genetically inherited disease.
Buyer expressly understands and agrees that all remedies described herein shall be Buyer’s sole and exclusive remedies with respect to the Seller’s Health Guarantees. Seller will not issue any refunds and shall not otherwise be responsible liable for any problems with the Dog that are not covered by the Seller’s Health Guarantees described herein.
Indemnity and Release. If any action or failure to act on the part of Buyer shall result in any claim, suit, loss, damage, injury, death, or liability, Buyer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold Seller harmless and to pay all of Seller’s costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, any amount paid in settlement and any award or judgment with respect thereto. Buyer releases Seller from any and all liability, costs or damages caused by the Dog after transfer by Seller, including but not limited to damage to or destruction of property, and injury to any person.
Attorneys’ Fees. If Seller institutes any suit or action to enforce any term of this Agreement against Buyer, Seller shall be entitled to recover from Buyer its reasonable attorneys’ fees and costs.
Governing Law. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Georgia.
Opportunity to Consult with Counsel. The Parties hereby represent and acknowledge that they have been provided with the opportunity to discuss and review the terms of this Agreement with their respective attorneys before signing it and that they are freely and voluntarily signing this document in exchange for the benefits provided herein. The Parties further represent and acknowledge that they have been provided a reasonable period of time within which to review the terms of this Agreement
Entire Agreement. This Agreement represents the entire agreement between the parties. Seller and Buyer have made no other agreements, promises, representations or warranties, express or implied, unless specifically stated in this Agreement. No alteration of or amendment to this Agreement shall be effective unless given in writing and signed by the party or parties sought to be charged or bound by the alteration of amendment.
