What Goes Into Our Pricing?
I understand that pricing is always a consideration when purchasing a new puppy.
Let me just start off by saying, you get what you pay for. Edenbright Brittanys puts time, money and effort into raising quality, healthy and well adjusted puppies. As such, we do add on these expenses in our pricing.
Our puppy prices range from $1000 to $1500. Deposit is $200.00 and goes toward the principal amount.

Reservation Lists and Deposit Policies
Our goal is to provide puppies with good temperaments, great looks, and ultimately in great health! While we can not guarantee what color or gender each litter will produce, we can help you get a good idea of what to expect based on previous litters. We have general goals of how many litters we would like to produce and then rely upon heat cycles and dam body mass index to be exceptional before we breed. If there are concerns for the health of our dams, we won’t breed them during that heat cycle.
Our general goal is to produce approximately 2-4 litters of Orange/White, 1-2 litters of Liver/White and 1 litter of Orange/White Roan annually.
At this point the approximate wait time for each color combination is
Orange/White = 3-6 months
Liver/White = 9-12months
(To see examples of what dogs in these color ranges look like, please click here)
These numbers are approximate and can vary significantly based on the many variables in our dog’s lives. We only breed our females if they are healthy and ready for pregnancy. Even then, there is no guarantee that they will have puppies, or how many they have if they do get pregnant.
Reservation Lists And Deposits
Our Reservation Lists (found above) is for future advertised litters (unborn puppies) from specific breedings. To be placed on a Reservation List for a specific litter, we require a $200.00 deposit. DEPOSIT MUST BE PAID 48 HOURS AFTER RECEIPT OF INVOICE OR YOU WILL NOT BE PUT ON THE LIST. Once you have been pre-approved and subsequently deposited, you will be placed onto the Specified Reservation List for That Litter (you can find that list in under the drop down box with the Litter name and date). Deposits are 50% Refundable and can be refunded for any reason, and 100% Refundable in the event that we fail to provide you with a puppy that met the requirements you listed on the application. There is no way that you can know for sure that we will have a puppy for you in the future, and we understand that. We fully respect your decision if you find a puppy elsewhere or change your mind for any other reason. In such a case we would refund 50% of your deposit. ($100.00 on a $200.00 deposit). If for whatever reason, we cannot provide you with a puppy that matches the gender and/or color from ANY of our litters within 6-12 months (we will let you know how long it will be before we produce a litter of puppies that may meet your preferences), your deposit is 100% Refundable. After you pick a puppy at the six week mark, the deposit becomes completely non-refundable and non-transferable.
Deposits are transferable between litters for any reason – However, you will move to the bottom of the list for that litter.
Waiting List AND DEPOSIT
The waiting list (found below) is a popular counter-option to the reservation list and probably your best bet of getting to the top three or four spots on any list early. This list is good for people looking for a puppy of a specific color, pattern, gender or time frame and aren’t picky about which of our dams/sires produce the puppy.
The deposit for the waiting list is $200.00 and follows the same rules as the Reservation list deposits (50% refundable if you aren’t happy, 100% refundable if we fail to get you a puppy that meets your requirements within 6-12 months). It is a free running list that can be viewed at the link below, and is first come, first serve. Basically, what that means is that we contact you in the event a puppy becomes available or a breeding (that we have yet to advertise) has taken place that we are confident will produce puppies that meets your standards – color, pattern, pairing, timing etc. You have the option to go on ANY of the lists once we decide to advertise them. The Waiting List gets your foot in the door first before we officially advertise confirmed breedings or new litters.
To be put on this list, please fill out the application by cliking the link at the top of the page – when asked about litter or puppy preference, please state that you are looking for the first available puppy that meets the gender, color, pattern or timing preference selected on your application. Once the application is submitted, I will contact you to set up an appointment to discuss your special preferences. DO NOT FILL OUT THIS APPLICATION IF YOU ARE NOT READY TO COMMIT POSSIBLY WAITING SIX+ MONTHS FOR A PUPPY that meets your preferences. You can view the waiting list below.
Please keep in mind that litter planning is truly guesswork, and nothing is guaranteed. We are working with nature and she can be finicky at times.
All lists get you access to Owners Facebook Page and our Litter Updates Page.
We also have a non-deposit contact list. This list requires no deposit, but does not guarantee you a puppy. It is simply a list of people interested in being contacted in the event of a puppy being born that they may like. It’s a popular option for many people who are unsure about whether they want a puppy from Edenbright Brittanys, or from people who are really just looking for the earliest possible puppy available. However, this list does NOT guarantee a puppy and more often than not, deposits have already been placed on litters before they are born and your chances of getting a puppy would be much higher with a deposit.
Picking and Preference Numbers
Placing puppies in the right home based on temperament and personality is the cornerstone of our breeding program. As such, we don’t allow our pup-parents to pick out which puppy will go home with them until the puppies are six weeks old – this gives me plenty of time to get the know the puppy, as well as time to post lots of photos and videos so that our buyers can make a truly informed decision about how each puppy would fit into their home and life. Below you will find a step-by-step explanation of our picking and deposit process works.
Step One: Place a Deposit
The first thing you will want to do is place a deposit on a current or future litter. This deposit gives you two numbers on our list –a Contact Number for the order in which you will be contacted once the puppies are six weeks old to discuss your pick – and a Preference Number: This number can be the same or different than the Contact Number depending on the preferences you chose on the application. For example:
Here is an example of a typical list. On this list there are 3 people who have placed deposits. Let’s say you wanted an Orange and White Male. While you will be 4th to be contacted to discuss which puppy you would like to take home, you would have either 1st or 2nd pick for Male:
1. A. Alexander (1st Pick Orange/White Female)
2. B. Barton (2nd Pick Orange/White Female)
3. C. Charleston (Orange/White 1st Pick Male or 3rd Pick Female)
4. YOU (1st or 2nd Pick Male)
This is due to Mr. Charleston wanting to pick based only on personality and keep his options open – so when he put down his deposit, he stated that he wanted either a male or female. If Mr. Charleston picks a female, YOU would get 1st pick of male since there is no one above you that picked or wanted to pick a male. If Mr. Charleston picks a male, you get 2nd pick of male. While your Preference Number can change depending on what you selected on your application and where you are on the list, YOUR PICKING NUMBER WILL NEVER MOVE DOWN. Picking numbers only move up if people drop off the list. You will never move down the list.
Step Two: Follow our Owner’s Page and Litter Updates Page
Once you’ve placed a deposit, you will be given a link to the Owner’s Page and the Litter Updates Page. The owner’s page allows you to see photos of our past puppies and discuss various topics with our past owners. The Litter Updates page is where I will post updates on breedings, unborn and born litters – including photos, calendars, important dates and videos.
YOU MUST FOLLOW THE LITTER PAGE FOR UPDATES – If you do not have a Facebook page, make one or use someone else’s. I will not text people individually – if you are unconcerned about updates and do not follow the page, you will be contacted at the six-week mark to pick up your puppy and be given the pickup date. Unless you call me for an update, you will only receive them via Facebook.
For the six weeks leading up to the Picking Date, I will post bi-weekly videos and photos of the puppies. During the 5th week, the puppies will have a Volhard test and I will take high-resolution individual photos and individual personality videos for you to view.
Step Three: Pick Your Puppy
I will call you at some point during the 6th week. Picking is a process, and it takes the entire 6th week to complete sometimes as I go down the list in order. As puppies are picked, the list on our website will be updated to reflect what puppies have been chosen. Once I get to your name, I will text you to set up a phone conversation. During this conversation, we will also discuss your plans to pick your puppy up after he/she is 8 Weeks Old. If I do not hear back from you within 24 hours, you will move to the bottom of the list and I will move on.
If you would like to come in person to pick up your puppy YOU MUST SCHEDULE THAT VISIT EARLY ON! You will be given the dates for open visitation.
My advice during and before picking is to have two or three puppies that you would like to choose from rather than have your heart set on one, especially if you are not in one of the top spots.
Step Four: Pick up your puppy!
Even though I allow you to pick out which puppy you would like at 6 weeks, they will not go home with you until after they are 8 weeks!
