Currently Available

ALL AVAILABLE PUPPIES ARE RESEVRED. PLEASE SEE UPCOMING LITTERS PAGE FOR FURTURE LITTERS.

IF YOU ARE COMMITTED TO GETTING A PUPPY FROM A RESPONSIBLE BREEDER OF BRITTANYS, I HIGHLY SUGGEST GETTING ON A WAITING LIST EARLY (WHETHER ITS ONE OF MY WAITING LISTS OR ANORHER BREEDERS). DUE TO EXPOSURE IN MEDIA AND SOCIAL MEDIA IN THE LAST FEW YEARS, THE BRITTANY IS BECOMING A VERY POPULAR PET. I, AND MANY OTHER BREEDERS, ARE SEEING A HUGE SPIKE IN DEMAND FOR PUPPIES AND WE RARELY HAVE ANY PUPPIES LEFT WITHIN A FEW WEEKS AFTER WE ANOUNCED THAT A BREEDING WAS CONFIRMED. SO PLEASE, TO KEEP YOURSELF FROM HAVING TO SETTLE WITH A SUBPAR BREEDER- GET ON A LIST FOR A GOOD BREEDER EARLY!

This Page is for puppies that have not been reserved by the time they are born and will be ready to go home immediately or by 8 weeks old. If the available puppies are under six weeks old, you will need to place a deposit to reserve a spot on the list in order to pick your puppy from the litter at six weeks. If the puppy is older than six weeks, you will need to place a deposit on the available puppy. In order to reserve a spot on a litter of puppies under six weeks old, or to place a deposit on an available puppy over six weeks old, please fill out an application and specify the puppy or litter you are interested in.

Picking out your Puppy!

*for puppies over six weeks old, you will simply need to place a deposit and we will discuss which puppy you would like as their personalities have already developed*

Placing puppies in the right home based on temperament and personality is the cornerstone of our breeding program. As such, we don’t allow our pup-parents to pick out which puppy will go home with them until the puppies are six weeks old – this gives me plenty of time to get the know the puppy, as well as time to post lots of photos and videos so that our buyers can make a truly informed decision about how each puppy would fit into their home and life.  Below you will find a step-by-step explanation of our picking and deposit process works.

Step One:  Place a Deposit

The first thing you will want to do is place a deposit on a current or future litter. This deposit gives you two numbers on our list –a Contact Number for the order in which you will be contacted once the puppies are six weeks old to discuss your pick – and a Preference Number: This number can be the same or different than the Contact Number depending on the preferences you chose on the application.

Below is an example of a typical list. On this list there are 3 people who have placed deposits. Let’s say you wanted an Orange and White Male. While you will be 4th to be contacted to discuss which puppy you would like to take home, you would have either 1st or 2nd pick for Male:

1. A. Alexander (1st Pick Orange/White Female)

2. B. Barton (2nd Pick Orange/White Female)

3. C. Charleston (Orange/White 1st Pick Male or 3rd Pick Female)

4. YOU (1st or 2nd Pick Male)

This is due to Mr. Charleston wanting to pick based only on personality and keep his options open – so when he put down his deposit, he stated that he wanted either a male or female. If Mr. Charleston picks a female, YOU would get 1st pick of male since there is no one above you that picked or wanted to pick a male. If Mr. Charleston picks a male, you get 2nd pick of male. While your Preference Number can change depending on what you selected on your application and where you are on the list, YOUR PICKING NUMBER WILL NEVER MOVE DOWN. Picking numbers only move up if people drop off the list. You will never move down the list.

Step Two: Follow our Owner’s Page and Litter Updates Page

Once you’ve placed a deposit, you will be given a link to the Owner’s Page and the Litter Updates Page. The owner’s page allows you to see photos of our past puppies and discuss various topics with our past owners. The Litter Updates page is where I will post updates on breedings, unborn and born litters – including photos, calendars, important dates and videos.

YOU MUST FOLLOW THE LITTER PAGE FOR UPDATES – If you do not have a Facebook page, make one or use someone else’s. I will not text people individually – if you are unconcerned about updates and do not follow the page, you will be contacted at the six-week mark to pick up your puppy and be given the pickup date. Unless you call me for an update, you will only receive them via Facebook.

For the six weeks leading up to the Picking Date, I will post bi-weekly videos and photos of the puppies. During the 5th week, the puppies will have a Volhard test and I will take high-resolution individual photos and individual personality videos for you to view.

Step Three: Pick Your Puppy

I will call you at some point during the 6th week. Picking is a process, and it takes the entire 6th week to complete sometimes as I go down the list in order. As puppies are picked, the list on our website will be updated to reflect what puppies have been chosen. Once I get to your name, I will text you to set up a phone conversation. During this conversation, we will also discuss your plans to pick your puppy up after he/she is 8 Weeks Old. If I do not hear back from you within 24 hours, you will move to the bottom of the list and I will move on.

If you would like to come in person to pick up your puppy YOU MUST SCHEDULE THAT VISIT EARLY ON! You will be given the dates for open visitation.

My advice during and before picking is to have two or three puppies that you would like to choose from rather than have your heart set on one, especially if you are not in one of the top spots.

Step Four: Pick up your puppy!

Even though I allow you to pick out which puppy you would like at 6 weeks, they will not go home with you until after they are 8 weeks!
